4 Easy Steps For Success

Step One

We'll start with a phone or online call to discuss your goals and objectives. What do you want to achieve? I'll make sure I fully understand this before we move on to step 2....

Step Two

Once we've set some targets, we'll come up with a plan of how best to achieve these goals working from your current level of fitness and scheduling things around your normal daily activities.

Step Three

Then we get started as soon as you want to. Generally, the sooner the better! Planning your sessions in blocks is the most effective way to train or reach dietary targets.

Step Four

We'll review progress during and at the end of each block of training or nutrition coaching. Before you know it you will be several steps closer to reaching those goals!

Personal Training

Richard has amassed a wealth of experience in the time he has been qualified as a personal trainer, amassing over 10,000 hours in one to one personal training time.

His clients range from young children to teenagers and adults later life. He caters for all abilities. So, if you are an elite athlete looking for your next PB or you are at that point where you really need to get started with improving your fitness, Richard will will focus completely on helping your achieve your goals.

Nutrition Coaching

Richard is passionate about nutrition and is a qualified Precision-Nutrition Coach. He understands how nutrition plays the main role in any fitness goal sought. He has a proven record of coaching major body composition changes whether that is to safely gain weight (muscle mass) or to safely lose weight (body fat). Based on his experience and professional development, over the last 5 years Richard has developed a nutritional coaching programme that deals with the real issues that dictate body composition.

Triathlon Coaching

As a keen triathlete himself, it is no surprise that many of Richard's nutrition clients are triathlon athletes, competing at varying levels. Richard has created a 'one stop shop' to help triathletes prepare and train effectively. Working in structured blocks of sport-specific training, he will synchronise the required fuel for performance and recovery. Utilising an online coaching platform, TrainingPeaks, and his remote nutrition programme, he can precisely manage their progress towards an event.

Richard has amassed a wealth of experience in the time he has been qualified as a personal trainer. He has worked on a competitive gym floor, managed a multi-service, private studio and has built up an extensive client base who are located across the North West. His background is in athletics, a multiple City Champion and representing Liverpool nationally at the 200 metres sprint. Richard has also represented Merseyside at football, many times.

He has a broad range of training experience with his clients ranging from young children to teenagers and adults later life all with varying abilities through to elite athletes. He has banked over 10,000 hours in one to one personal training time.

Continuing his professional development he has take a step further in his qualifications to become a L4 Behaviour Change Specialist. This enables him to coach the individual smartly and effectively using habit changing protocols and SMART goal setting.

Having had a Personal trainer Jon from creations for some time now, my intention this year was to try and qualify for the world duathlon championships in 2020. But I have struggled with previous Duathlons particularly on my second run. So I explained my problems to Richie, he asked me to do a weeks food diary along with my training programme and straight away he noticed that I was very short on my calorie intake and more important certain food groups. Richie set a new calorie target to incorporate the food groups that I was lacking in, I have since been following his advise and feel I have so much more energy, my training has been much improved, i have since qualified for the 2020 GB age group duathlon championships but more importantly for me I finished first in my age group and felt great at the end of the race , Nutrition was certainly a key factor for me. Rich is very knowledgeable and a great motivator and makes the whole process very simple and easy. He spends time breaking down the old poor habits and replacing them with better and healthier options and giving you the skills to be able to continue with the healthier options once the 13 weeks are up. When work and life get in the way you can just press pause for a little while and just pick it up again armed with all the choices and knowledge to get back on track immediately.
